Marianne HurumKrabbe is a presentation of a selection of Marianne Hurum´s paintings dating 2016 to present. Her work is central in the recent years´ development of Norwegian painting. Postscript on Curing Normality features a talk given by Gerd Brantenberg, an introduction by Sille Storihle and archival footage tracing “homosexual life” in Norway since 1972.

Fluxus is a cross-disciplinary phenomenon whose roots go back to the 1960s and 70s and which attracted many of the experimental artists of these decades. Naturally enough, its core venue of activity in Norway became The Henie Onstad Art Centre in Oslo, which was the cradle of experimental art in the country at this time.
Film as essayistic collage is central to Steyerl’s works. She combines own recordings withscenes from Hollywood movies and documentary material in various works, operating withindifferent rhythms and time intervals. Her films criticize an understanding of the documentaryimage as a bearer of history and authenticity and as an object of empathy and identification.
